Former Ipswich Town defender Myles Kenlock featured for England C in their 1-0 defeat against Wales last night. Ross Halls takes a look at the current and former Blues players to have won a cap.

Kenlock is currently at non-league side Ebbsfleet United. He won his first cap for the England C team, which is made up of players from the National League.

A superb Sion Bradley free kick sealed a 1-0 victory for Wales at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli.

SCOTT LOACH 

The goalkeeper is the most recent player to win a cap for England C, having represented his country in a 4-0 defeat to Wales in March 2022 when he was a Chesterfield player. 

Loach had only made 14 caps for England U21s and was an unused substitute for two full internationals in 2010. 

KIEFFER MOORE

The Town forward, who is currently on loan from Bournemouth, is a senior Wales international with 12 goals in 39 appearances, but he did win a cap for England C in November 2016. 

Moore played against Estonia's under-23's when he was at then non-league Forest Green Rovers. Two months later, he would join Town for his first spell at Portman Road.

JAMES NORWOOD

The forward is the most capped player on this list, having featured seven times whilst he was a Forest Green Rovers player. 

Norwood made his debut as a half-time substitute, scoring a hat-trick against Bermuda in a 6-1 win in March 2013. He also scored a last-minute penalty to earn a 2-2 draw against Czech Republic under-21's in November that year. 

KAYDEN JACKSON

Jackson is another current Town player who represented his country when he was selected during his spell at Wrexham in the fifth tier. 

He scored on his only appearance, netting the second goal in the 2-0 win over Ukraine under-23's in March 2016.

JON NOLAN

The midfielder featured once for England C when he was at Lincoln City. 

Nolan made his international debut against Estonia under-23's in a 4-2 victory in November 2014.

JORDAN ROBERTS

The forward won two caps during his spell with Aldershot Town, making his debut in a 2–0 defeat to Tunisia under-23's in October 2014.

Roberts scored on his second appearance in a 2–1 victory against Republic of Ireland under-21's in June 2015. He went on to sign for Scottish Premiership side Inverness Caledonian Thistle that summer.

DAVID STOCKDALE

The goalkeeper won one cap during his early days at York City when he came on as a substitute in a 1–0 victory over Italy in November 2004.

Stockdale was named in the full England squad twice under manager Fabio Capello during his time at Fulham, but didn't earn a cap. 

DARREN MCQUEEN AND JAMES ALABI

The duo made just one appearance each for Town, but they have both won two caps for England C in the same fixtures in 2017 whilst playing for Ebbsfleet United and Chester respectively.  

McQueen scored twice on his debut in a 2-1 win over Panjab and both featured in a 1-1 draw with Jersey FA in the Jacksons’ Trophy, losing 4-3 on penalties.

DJ CAMPBELL

The forward represented England C twice during his playing days at Yeading, making his debut in a 1-0 win over Republic of Ireland under-21's in May 2005. 

Campbell's second appearance came a few days later in a 3-2 win over Scotland, and he ended up making the switch to then League One side Brentford that summer. 

AARON MCLEAN

The former loanee gained five caps for the England C team during his time in non-league, playing for the likes Aldershot Town and Grays Athletic. 

McLean won the caps between 2003 to 2006, before he made his move into the Football League with Peterborough United.

DANNY COLLINS 

The defender played six times for England C when he was at Chester City before moving on to Sunderland. He was subsequently called up to the Welsh national side.

Collins won 12 full caps for Wales, making his debut in a 2–0 win over Hungary in February 2005. 

ARRAN LEE-BARRETT 

The goalkeeper played once when he was at Weymouth, making his debut in November 2006 against the Netherlands in the European Challenge Trophy, winning 4-1.

Lee-Barrett would be another player to move into the Football League a few months after winning his cap, joining Coventry City in January 2007. 

GARY ROBERTS

The midfielder was capped four times during his time at Accrington Stanley when they were a non-league side.

Roberts made his debut in a 3-1 win over Italy in February 2006, before making further appearances against Republic of Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
